- Home of about 1,350 different kinds of fish including hagfishes, some squaloid sharks, deep-sea cods, eelpouts, snailfishes, deep-sea eels, etc.

Facts:

- Tempatures range from 35-37 F

- This Zone has no currents and no light 

- Ranges from about 13,000 to 20,000 feet below sea level
