More recently, in 1991, Larry Groce has composed, directed, and produced music for a radio version of "Gauley Mountain," a book of poetry from a West Virginian author named Louise McNeill. Later, in 2003, he converted five short stories written by her father, G. D. McNeill, to audio format. From 1992 to 2004, Larry was co-publisher for West Virginia's only alternative tabloid, Graffiti. A year later, he became executive director for the FesticALL Chaleston, a ten day art festival. In 2008, Larry Groce was awarded with a West Virignia Governor's Art Award for Leadership. All together, I think that Larry was a very musically talented man, and has been rightfully rewarded as such throughout the years. However, I may not know some of his musical pieces, I believe he's a very talented artist.
