Common name: Sugar Maple
Scientific name: Acer saccharum

The Sugar Maple can be found in Canada and the northeastern part of the United States. It usually grows to between 70-90 feet and its diameter of the trunk is around 2-3 feet. The sugar maple leaf on the Canadian flag shows the importance of its species in Canada.
