Pineapple Express

The main comedic element in Pineapple Express is situational irony.
We see this when dale and Saul meet with red who was trying to relay them to Ted who is trying to kill them. Also with Saul getting hit by a cop car spilling the slushy thinking he was saving dale but threw away the only help they could get instead.
