A) The monsoon season was important to farmers in the Indian River Basin, because it provided good watering and irrigation during the dry months. 


B) Dams, reservoirs, canals, wells, and tunnels are some of many irrigation system used in the basin. Monumental reservoirs led with brick that captured the rains of the spring and summer months, were also used, to hold water until the dry season came and canals carried the water to thirsty fields.  


C) As a result of increased productivity, India's population grew steadily.
