Mid Latitude Desert

-little rain because of the distance from the ocean
-during the day time, it's hotter
-night time it gets cooler
-the ground doesn't absorb water well, so rain just runs off the ground
-mostly in Nevada, California, New Mexico, and Utah
(some sunglasses and a sun hat will be perfect for a day by the pool)

Humid Subtropical

-covers most of the South East
-rains a lot
-hot, rainy summers
-wet, cold winters
-also covers the tip of Florida
(some rain boots and and sunglasses would be perfect)

The zones

Semiarid Steppe

-Texas, Nevada, eastern Washington and Oregon
-dry with some rain
-hot, dry summers
-chilly winters
(football is a great pass time when it's hot out! Bring shorts and flip-flops!)
-weather is usually desert like or humid
