Vietnam war began on 1945 and ended on 1975. It killed hundreds of innocent civilians and created many small battles. The U.S. Joined the war because we believed in the domino theory and feared communism. In the end Vietnam was divided at the 70th parallel into north and south Vietnam. The north ended up being communist.
