WINNERS

Italy won the second Italo-Ethiopian war
Ethiopia surrendered on December 18, 1936
This invasion was significant because Italy violated the League of Nations and Ethiopia had major minerals and resources Italy could use and Italy wanted to take over weak countries.
Mussolini felt as if he needed to take over Ethiopia because in the first war Ethiopia won and Italy couldn't take over the country.
This invasion paved the way to world war 2.
