The Beginning of the Food Web/Energy Pyramid
Ever thought what animals eat and how they survive? Well then this non-fiction slide is here to teach people all about the food web and the energy pyramid! The food web is something that let's all the animals know that they can depend on some animals and know they have a stable food source. There is also such thing as a food chain for example, grass is the producer it holds the most energy. Let's say a rabbit comes by and eats some grass the rabbit is know as the primary consumer. Then a fox comes by and eats the rabbit then the fox get a portion of the energy the rabbit stored, the fox is now know as a secondary consumer, then a bear comes by and eats the fox the bear gets almost no energy but he will the be know as the tertiary consumer. That is what a food chain is all about. The food web is just a bunch of the food chains into one.
