He was born around 20 years before WWII. He fought in battle of the bulge. He carried the base of a mortar, it weighed at least 100 lbs. he then got promoted to the barrel, that weighed 50 lbs. then he was promoted to the ammunition. He is 90 and is one of a hand full of veterans that is alive from WWII
