Clinical Description

- The child receives an extra X chromosome. When they enter puberty, the testicles have low testosterone level,which gives them the inability to produce sperm

Symptoms :
1.) Taller with longer limbs in childhood
2.) Poor upper body strength
3.) Gynecomastia AKA: Breast Growth
4.) Wide hips
5.) Cannot produce sperm

Occurrence : One in five - hundred to eight - hundred

- VERY common
- Can happen to ANY ethnicity or religion
- Can live a long and happy life; but cannot bear a child unless they adopt.

Treatment :
- No treatment right now
- May benefit from.....
- Therapy
- Breast removal surgery
