How Does This Affect Us Today?

The ancient library has affected us by creating better education, or the idea of college. This library has also influenced our language. We have many Greek root words in most of our, modern day words. The Greek library, and the scribes who studied there have also influenced math, and, even the idea of libraries for a place to store books. This ancient library may have even been the reason for the paper that we use today. They used papyrus, which is very similar to paper. They found that paper was better than stone tablets that break, allowing them to have more books.
