Persuasive Letter

Dear Mom and Dad,
I am writing this letter to inform you about the homeless and what you can do to help. As you can imagine, homelessness is not easy. Here are some facts about being homeless. Did you know most homeless people have full time or part time jobs? Also, 20% of homeless people are children.

If you are wondering what you can do to help, I have a few suggestions. If you ever see a homeless person begging for money, give them a small amount of money or some food. You can donate cans of food to a local food bank. You can also volunteer at a homeless shelter. They are always in need of help!
