Grass

Genus: graminoids
Species: poaceae

Grass is found all over the earth basically everywhere you look except the desert you will see some form of grass. Grass is a very important food source and energy source for many animals on earth. The grass you commonly see is on your own lawn which is planted or seeded grass. Grass in the plains however is dryer and longer.

In the upper right hand corner a magnified blade of grass is visible. The white spots spreaded throughout are air spaces while the epidermis is the light green layer around the leaf. Palisade mysophyll are the dark green spots scattered around.
