Proof 3: Similar triangles

🍫Based on the proportionality of two similar triangles.
🍩 Triangles ACH and ABC are similar because;
🔸 They both have right
angles.
🔹 They both have an angle
the same size as 'A' and,
🔸 The remaining angles are
also the same size.
🍬 By similar reasoning triangle CBH is also similar to triangle ABC.

🍪 The similarity of the two triangles leads to the equality of ratios of corresponding sides;
BC/AB = BH/BC and AC/AB = AH/AC
