The Battle of Balaclava

During the Battle of Balaclava, two of the most famous attacks in modern wartime took place, the Thin Red Line and the Charge of the Light Brigade. The Thin Red Line is now common term used by the British to describe sangfroid in soldiers in a battle with not much backup.
