Conclusion
Edgar Alan Poe writes the poem "The Bells" to show the mood changing through the poem. In the first stanza Poe talks about the silver bells and the second stanza with wedding bells using a happy mood. In the third with the brazen bells getting angrier as the poem goes on the stanzas get darker and darker with the last stanza ending with death. Poe uses this poem to show life and how it is happy and how life go on and ending with death.
