April 27, 1764

Today was the first day for the children working and i had my son near my side, i taught him how to use some of the basic machinery in the factory. Late in the day, Nigel west came up to me and gave me a little bag. He then left the factory. Once i got home i opened the bag. It had all of the money he has gotten over past few years. For my families safety, we moved to another city and started our new life there. My family was sick though. I could hardly breathe, my son had a cough, and my wife was so sore from the work at the factory and at home.
