The map illustrates the oil and natural gas production in SWANA. Also you can see near Libya that there are gas pipelines connected to the Mediterranean Sea. The organization that started this oil boom was OPEC ( Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries). Although the amount of gas is almost unlimited and gas prices are low the water supply in this country is very limited because in the Mediterranean Sea spills and other hazards can affect the water greatly.
