Reason for decrease:

The California Tiger Salamander has suddenly become endangered because of the disappearance of woodlands, grasslands, and wetlands. The woods are being cut down, as well as grass and wetlands being destroyed.
The biotic factors that led to the decrease are humans. They are building their houses on the amphibians houses. Rodent poisonings are also poisoning these amphibians.
