-On august 4th 1944 the people in the annex were arrested and taken to concentration camps.

After the diary

-Mr.Kleinman and Mr.Kugler were also arrested. Bep and Miep were not.

-Kleinman and Kugler were sent to a concentration camp in holland. Kleinman was allowed to go free because he was ill and died in 1959. Kugler escaped to Canada and died in 1989.

-Bep died in Amsterdam 1983 and Miep still lives in Amsterdam.
