Quotes

Act 5- a grave? Oh, no. A lantern, slaughted young, for here lies Juliet, and her beauty makes this vault feasting presence full of night.
Translation- A grave? Oh no! This is a lantern, dead Paris. Juliet lies here, and her beauty fills this tomb with light.
Analysis- it connects the the theme because Romeo killed Paris so he could be with him loving Juliet.

Act 2- with loves lights wings did I o'erperch these walls, for Stony limits cannot hold love out, and what love can do, That dares loves attempt. Therefore thy kinsmen are no stop to me.
Translation- I flow over these walls with the light wings of love. Stone walls can't keep love out. Whatever a man in love can possibly do, his love will make him try to do it. Therefore your relatives are no obstacle.
Analysis- this connects to the theme because Romeo will stop at nothing so Juliet and him can be together forever.
