Chapter Three

--Tom and his brother, Sid, begin to fight with each other.

--Tom takes all the blame, and Sid gets a piece of sugar from the sugar bowl.

--As Sid grabs it, it falls to the floor and shatters.

--“He said to himself, "Now it's coming!" And the next instant he was sprawling on the floor! The potent palm was uplifted to strike again when Tom cried out:
"Hold on, now, what 'er you belting ME for?—Sid broke it!”
