Amon Goeth

2 and 3) Amon joined a Nazi youth group at seventeen, moved to a nationalist paramilitary group at nineteen, and in 1930, when he was twenty-two, joined the Austrian Nazi Party.

1) Goeth was born on December 11, 1908 in Vienna and came from a family well- established in the printing industry

4) Was made famous after Joseph Fiennes’ critically acclaimed portrayal of the Kraków-Płaszów Nazi concentration camp. Goeth displayed a talent for mass slaughter and was the most internationally known icon of Nazi evil after Hitler himself

5) Goeth worked for Hitler and the Nazi party, but never met Hitler personally

6) Amon Goeth was a Nazi Officer who headed a German forced labor camp in Poland

7) Goeth was found guilty of personally ordering the imprisonment, torture, and extermination of individuals and groups of people. He was also convicted of homicide, and was executed by hanging not far from the former site of the Płaszów camp.

8) Amon Goeth will forever be remembered as an evil, disgusting killer who participated in Hitler's devious plan against Jews
