QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

*Once they graduate from a U.S. veterinary school, they receive a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree

for pre vet studies

*Basic training is between nine and ten years.

*two year internships.
