Children with Tay-Sachs typically show signs by the time they are six months old. This disease causes most children to die by the age five or six. Tay-Sachs causes children to have seizures and diminishing mental functions. When this gets more severe the child is blind, paralyzed, and cognitively impaired.

Symptoms
