Additional Phases in the future would include:
Further extension of the runway
Expansion of the terminal and air service buildings
The construction of hangars and an airline service center
The construction of restaurants, shops and duty free stores

The total Value of Phase 1 of the project is estimated to be $13.5 Million
This is broken-down as follows:
$5 Million – Current Airport, additional land and services – Government of the Bahamas
$8.5 Million – International Funding Source
