Where does it come from?

Fun fact:Lampreys are considered a delicacy in some parts of Europe, including South-Western France, but are not commonly eaten in the Americas.

In their natural habitat, sea lampreys lives in the open ocean, migrating into freshwater to spawn. The larvae live in soft stream sediments.

found in the northern Atlantic Ocean along shores of Europe and North America, in the western Mediterranean Sea, and in the Great Lakes.
