Habitat Description
Orangutans mostly stay in trees. They sleep in beds made of leaves in branches. In the rain, they use large leaves for protection. To suit their needs, they live in large rain forests in Borneo and Sumatra. These are the only forests that are home to orangutans also because they provide the plants and small animals that orangutans eat.
