What were the Jim Crow Laws?
Jim Crow Laws were racial segregation laws enacted between 1876 and 1965 in the United States.
These laws gave African Americans a "separate but equal" status.
The separation favorited White Americans and created a number of economic, educational, and social disadvantages for the African Americans.
