Water
Water is a common force that erodes and breaks down rock. This picture shows a result of water weathering and erosion. The water rubs against the rock continually, breaking off small pieces each time. This is water weathering. The water then carries the sediments downstream along the current and deposits the sediment elsewhere. This is water erosion.
