Hey is for Horses

I used to be a beautiful crop. But they harvested me & now I'm a piece of hey someone is chewing (mechanical digestion). I was covered in this gross liquid stuff (which comes from the salivary glands). And they just accidentally swallowed me. I went into the dark cave filled with white boxes (teeth & mouth). This huge flap of meat (tongue) pushed me down a long tube (esophagus)(peristalsis). I was forced through a round opening & into a smelly chamber (stomach). I was dumped into this liquid stuff (gastric juices) that burned me to pieces (chemical digestion). I then was pushed into a longer tube (small intestine) & was squirted with more gross stuff (bile & digestive enzymes, which come are produced in the Liver, & held in the gall bladder & pancreas). I also noticed it was lined with tiny finger like things (villi). After it felt like all the life had been absorbed from me I felt like a piece of poo (feces). I got pushed into a shorter tube (large intestine). I went through one last short tube (rectum) & got pushed out a small hole (anus).
