Responsibilities

-Frick is responsible for enacting the "Law for the Restoration of the Civil Service", which
placed Nazis in all the senior positions.

-He was given the authority to appoint all
mayors to cities/towns with a population of
100,000 people or more after the passing of
the Enabling Act.

-He was involved in the rearmament campaign
in Nazi Germany in violation of the Treaty of
Versailles where he extended universal
military conscription to Austria after the 1938
Anschluss and then the occupied
Czechoslovakia in March, 1939.

-Frick held the authority to control Germany's police force until Hitler handed control of the
police to Heinrich Himmler in 1936. Following this loss to Himmler, Frick was forced to
endure another one where Himmler took over Frick's position of the Minister of the Interior
in 1943.
