Another reason Europeans took over Africa was because of the trade. Be use of the variety of resources they more than enough resources to trade.

They would trade goods like sugar or coffee for goods like cattle.

They would trade gold or copper for medicines or food they didn't have.

This was one way they got different goods from others nations
