- When Ned was 14 years of age he was sent to jail for striking a man
- When Ned was 16 years of age he was sent to jail for steeling a horse
- In April 1878 Constable Fitzpatrick went to the Kelly house to arrest Dan
( Ned' brother) for steeling a horse.
- In 1879 Ned shot Fitzpatrick
- In October 1878 Ned and his gang came face to face with a gang of police men and bushrangers and their was a big fight because the police and bushrangers didn't like them ( the Kelly gang. ) not long after that Ned Kelly and Dan Kelly and some others from the gang went out to the township. They robed the town ship and threatened to shoot the manager, his family and the staff if they didn't give the money they made $9000
