Why was it important,and how❓

Why?

If this didn't happen Texas would not be an independent state.There's a chance we would have still been under Mexico's control.The revolution was important for Texas to become the state that it is today.

How?

They fought back against the Mexican government and protested.Physically and verbally they fought for their independence and stood up for themselves.
