The squids are located almost every where in Australia


There are four main species:
Northern calamari
Southern calamari
Loligo squid
&
Gould's squid

"Calamari" is the Italian word for "squid"

They can grow from less than an inch and weigh less than a quarter ounce
And as big as 18 meters and heavier than 1,000 pounds
