Clinical description

Symptoms:
-A persistent cough
-Wheezing
-Breathlessness
-Repeated lung infections
-Inflamed nasal passages or a stuffy nose

Occurrence:one in two-thousand five hundred white Americans without a family history of CF

Prognosis: About forty years of age

Treatment: Although there is not a definite treatment, lung transplantation, gene therapy, homeopathic medicine and chest physical therapy can be used to help.
