Key Figures

There were many key figures in the Scientific Revolution. One of the people that had an impact on the Scientific Revolution was Ptolemy. Ptolemy was an ancient astronomer who studied the sky. Another person was, Tycho Brahe. He was Danish and spent his life studying stars. Lastly, Galileo Galilei was a major key figure. He was the first to study with a telescope.

I think Galileo was the most important person in Scientific Revolution. His achievements include improvements to the telescope and consequent astronomical observations and support for Copernicanism. Galileo was called the "father of modern observational astronomy",the "father of modern physics",the "father of science",and "the Father of Modern Science".
