Lion man of the Hohlenstein-stadel

It's been interpreted as anthropomorphic, giving human characteristics to an animal. carved out of mammoth ivory using a flint stone knife. Found in 1939. Originally was classified as a male by Joachim Hahn. Elisabeth Schmid decided the figure was a women due to examination of some additional parts.
