*He was interested in learning since a very young age.
*didn't learn to talk until he was 4.
*1879 he invented a long lasting source of light- the lightbulb
*invented more than 2,000 products including almost everything needed for us to use electricity at home: switches, fuses, sockets, and meters.
*he owned the first power plant in NYC in 1882
