Southwest Asia and North Africa Overview

Stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the west of Asia social and economic impact the world on a large scale. The conflicts range from oil, ethnic diversity, religion and politics all come are all factors of conflicts in the area.

Climate- The Middle East has a very dry climate which dominates the west of morocco and east of Iran. Because of the dry climate and the sub tropical high temperatures this will result into little or no rainfall in this region.

Physical- The Middle East has many things that affect the physical geography in this place. For example deforestation occurs in this area which is ironic because most of the Middle East is dry but the area close to the Mediterranean has some heavily forested areas. Although this occurred Syria and Israel government decided to start reforestation drives because the lacking of water and erosion of soil

Population - the population of Middle East isn't the best or the worst. It's in the middle kind of like the name because majority of the area is either desert or settled cities such as Cairo and Istanbul. Pastoral nomadism is a common type of agriculture which the nomads leave an area and when there livestock is back in season they go back to that area and farm it.
