Procedure

1. Secure a Hooke's law apparatus & set of masses.
2. Attach one of the springs onto the apparatus.
3. Calibrate the Hooke's law apparatus by ensuring that the mass cradle is aligned with 0 on the scale.
4. Measure using the pointer.
5. Continue adding masses in measurable increments to the spring until you have 10 measurements.
6. Attach new spring and repeat steps 3-5.
7. Record data.
