Comet

Comets orbit

Comet-
Are leftovers of stars and planets billions planets ago made up of ice, dust, and rock. They get their tails when they get close to the sun (or other source of heat) and the ice begins to melt. The tail always point away from the sun.

A comets orbit is in an irregular shape, and has a wide range of orbital periods. The different periods of time are thought to tell us where they originate from. Instead of orbiting the sun like everything else it has a n oval shape.
