Biography
Democritus was an Ancient Greek philosopher born 460 BC, though many argue it was 490 BC. He was born in Abdere Threece, Greece. He was the pupil of Luecippus. He was a big influence in the pre-Socratic philosopher, who formulated the basic atomic theory. Democritus father came from a noble and wealthy family, after his father died, Democritus spent all his inheritance traveling to Babylon, Egypt, Euthopia, and even India. He is called the "laughing philosopher" for mocking other peoples mistakes. He lived over a century and there are many stories of his death.
