Symptoms

Some of the symptoms and signs of hemophilia include:

Bleeding in the joints, mainly in the knees, elbows, and ankles. This could lead to swelling and tightness in the joints.

Bleeding into skin, which is basically bruising.

Mouth and gums bleed, and it is hard to stop bleeding after losing a tooth.

Bleeding after a circumcision.

Bleeding after having shots.

Bleeding in the head as an infant after difficult delivery.

Blood in the urine or stool.

Frequent and hard to stop nosebleeds.
