Shiny Surface:
The light that reflects and passes through the shiny windows makes the pillows on the seating look like a lighter color than they really are. Also, the seating appears lighter due to the windows.

Rough Surface:
The blinds are a rough surface that influences the color of the substances in the room. The pink looks a lot darker due to the blinds covering light.
