Prognosis:

* Studies have found that this disease is not caused by an infectious agent or substance that is in the environment. It is very controversial as far as weather it's a mental illness or it's caused from underlying issues such as Lyme disease.
* The result is that they leave hyper pigmented scars which heal in time.
