This is the thinnest layer of the Earth and covers the surface of the Earth. This is made up of solid rock and is 30km thick.

This is the layer of the Earth where a lot of activity takes place. The rocks here are semi-molten and are slow moving currents called convection currents. These currents are what causes plates to move.

The Earth core is the Earths engine and is at the centre of the Earth. It is extremely hot here!
