Salma's childhood

She says that her and her brother, Sami, were very spoiled growing up. When she saw "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" that was when she first wanted to become and actress. When she was 12 she went to the Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans, Louisiana. While there she played pranks on the nuns and was expelled. It was not until she attended Mexico City's Universidad Iberoamericana that she became serious about an acting career.
